WHY PRACTICE MATHS IS SO EFFECTIVE

While basic maths, or arithmetic, is a necessary skill, most children don't practice maths because they enjoy it. They do it because their teachers or parents encourage them to make the effort.

The only effective way to improve at basic maths is to PRACTICE!

Practice that achieves rapid results is encouraging for the child and helps to motivate them to keep working at it. It is important to start at the right level for your child, and to progressively increase the difficulty as they progress.

That's what our Practice Maths program focusses on. We make it really easy to generate a new set of questions and to set the time for getting it done. At the end of the set time, the answers are checked and graded for you, and you can see your child's progress chart at the bottom of the page.

You set the number of questions in each test, the combination of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to be included, and the time available for doing the test.
